Community Wi-Fi Project

KWFCDT Community Wifi Project

Bridging the Digital Divide

The Kouga Wind Farm Community Development Trust (KWFCDT) is proud to have successfully rolled out of the Community WiFi Project, an initiative designed to provide free and reliable internet connectivity to its four beneficiary communities: Umzamowethu, Kruisfontein, KwaNomzamo, and Sea Vista.

This groundbreaking project aims to enhance educational opportunities, drive socio-economic development, and empower local communities by bridging the digital divide.

Recognising the transformative power of internet access, the KWFCDT invested in wireless network infrastructure across its beneficiary communities to provide free and reliable connectivity. This initiative is a testament to the Trust’s Enterprise Development Pillar, focusing on fostering economic growth, innovation, and access to information.
