Cultivating Entrepreneurship and Economic Growth: KWFCDT Invests in Youth Skills Development

More exciting news! The KWFCDT is once again set to make a significant mark! During this quarter, the Sannah Training Institute hosted an induction for the highly anticipated ‘Poultry Farming’ and ‘Food and Beverages’ Learnership programmes.

These 12 month accredited programmes aim to address skills shortages and promote entrepreneurship in our local communities. This inspiring collaboration between the Trust, Sannah Training Institute, and Acrovox, is set to transform the lives of participants.

A total of 40 learners have embarked on this immersive and enriching experience throughout the year. They will be guided, mentored, and equipped with the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the poultry farming and food and beverages sectors.

The impact is clear: 40 young individuals will emerge from these programmes, empowered and ready to make their mark on the world. It’s a testament to the unwavering commitment of the Trust and its partners to empower youth and uplift communities.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to Ward 5 & 6 Councillor, Mr. Kholisile Nzelani, and Mrs. Nozuko Ntshota, for their invaluable presence at the programme’s induction. Their support and engagement underline the collective dedication to empowering our young people and fostering a brighter future.

Through this investment, the Trust demonstrates its belief in the power of skills development to create positive sustainable change, thereby paving the way for economic growth and individual empowerment within the supported communities.
