At Kouga Wind Farm Community Development Trust, we are committed to the growth and success of local enterprises. As part of our ongoing efforts to accelerate and support the development of high-potential Emerging Micro Enterprises (EMEs) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), we are thrilled to announce the appointment of five (5) local SMEs for a significant paving and skirting project!
The paving and skirting is to be done around the thirty three (33) additional classrooms that were recently constructed by the Trust in eight local schools.
Our team conducted a briefing session with these five SMEs at our offices in Humansdorp. The agenda encompassed various important aspects of the project, including the technical details of the scope of work to be undertaken by these exceptional SMEs.
This session marked a crucial step forward in empowering Kouga-based small businesses to actively participate in local economic
activities, thereby creating the much-needed job opportunities. We are proud to announce that this project is expected to generate over 25 new jobs within the communities!
This appointment is a testament to our belief in the immense potential of local businesses and their crucial role in driving local and national economic growth and sustainability. By entrusting these projects to local SMEs, we aim to achieve several important outcomes.
